Fountain Hills AZ Home Sales Report For Late Summer 2011

Unlike other parts of greater Phoenix which have seen a marked decline in the supply of homes, Fountain Hills has not. Quite the opposite. Currently there are 209 homes for sale which is less then last month, the month before and the last two years, but sales have dropped as well to 34 homes in August 2011 from 49 in July.
This is just a few more then last year and the year before, but it means the supply is just over 6 moths or in favor of the buyer, unlike many of the other cities in Greater Phoenix.

All of this means continues weakness in the Fountain Hills real estate market, but don't expect a large drop in prices nor the ability to put in low offers. It's all market driven and any good homes are sill selling well.
