Sales in Greater Phoenix decreased from 5980 homes to 4855 homes in April 2007.  This is an 18.81% decrease.  Year to date 19.045 homes sold in 2007 while 23,960 sold during the same time last year.

What is interesting is that Greater Phoenix median price stayed flat even though many of the valley cities has large decreases.  If you take inflation into effect than there was a decrease.
