The Troon golf course was designed by Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf and opened in 1986.  It is a private golf club situated in Troon Village.  Since its inception in 1986 this golf course has been ranked among the 100 top golf courses in the world and is consistently rated as the best golf course in Arizona.

The course challenges players and is fun to play.  The Sonoran Desert scenery is beautiful and the environment is peaceful and serene.  Troon is one of a handful of private courses that is member owned.

The Clubhouse at Troon is a 50,000 square foot center that offers exceptional dining in an elegant atmosphere.  The clubhouse offers five restaurants; the Quail's Nest and Lounge, the Private Dining Room, the Troon Room, the Men's Grill and the Poolside Grill.  Members also enjoy a fitness center complete with personal fitness trainers, exercise classes and private training sessions.  There are also lighted tennis courts with full-time tennis pros.
