A total of 420 homes sold in Scottsdale in October 2007 compared to 280 for the equal period in 2006.  That is a 33% drop. 

The median home price for Scottsdale stayed level only because the higher priced North Scottsdale market increased while the lower priced South Scottsdale market decreased in price by almost 8%.

Condos in Scottsdale did not fare any better with an almost 11% decrease in median price and a drop in sales fro 190 to 160.
