What surrounds Christy Cove is the Phoenix Mountain Preserve. The main cross roads are 24th St. and Shea.
Residents have direct access to hiking trails and mountain bike trails. Walking the trails, including Trail 100, one of the longest trails in the preserve, seem to be a popular way for residents to get some fresh air.
