Three Fountains in the Arcadia Neighborhood at 4401 N. 40th St. just South of Campbell is considered by many a landmark project. It is a Phoenix mid century icon by the architect Al Beadle. There are just over 50 condominiums in this project. They each have 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bath units with approximately 1,024 sf.

Many owners have remodeled these condominiums on the interior, while other wait patiently for their turn. Some of the remodels are superb.
The exterior is in need of refurbishing. This great complex could be spectacular with careful updating. Modern architecture, because of its simple forms and finishes, needs to be of high quality. We hope that Three Fountains will become an even more desirable place to live and own once it has been restored or at lease refinished. 1 to 2 units sell per year in Three Fountains. Prices are hovering at $250-$300,000 in early 2008.
The location is superb. There are great restaurants like Postino and the local hero, La Grande Orange are just a few steps away. South Scottsdale is only a few miles away. South Scottsdale is the highlight of shopping and entertainment. The airport, downtown Phoenix are within easy reach as well.
