| January 15, 2008 | | Get ready for the Big game | The Superbowl is coming to Glendale, just west of Phoenix on February 3. The new University of Phoenix stadium is a state of the art facility and is also home to the Arizona Cardinals. This facility boasts the first retractable roof and a roll-out grass field in North America. This stadium is a marvel of engineering, technology and perfect design. Up to 73,000 people can be seated in the facility and I am sure that every seat will be filled during the Super Bowl. There are 88 luxury lofts and nearly 7,400 Club Seats. This stadium was designed as a multi-purpose facility able to host football, basketball, soccer, concerts, rodeos and much, much more. This unique building was designed by world-renowned architect Peter Eisenman and is comprised of alternating metal panels that reflect the desert light and soaring glass slots that allow magnificent views of the desert scenery. | |
