There are a lot of good places to find coffee and that write about coffee shops and the subject itself much better then I could or should, like Arizona Coffee. I do real estate. Still, Phoenix Market Trends is not only about real estate it's about "local", the complete local scene; the businesses, the people, the streets, coffee shops and real estate, because that is what makes up the community, so I'll put in a shot about a coffee shop.
Today, I decided to do some work away from the office. I seem to work better with a lot of activity around me. That is why I took a short trip to Midtown Phoenix to Lux Coffeebar on Central Ave. I like this place because it's crowded and I dislike this place because it's crowded, i.e. sometimes lacks places to sit.
There are few of anything where people congregate in Greater Phoenix even though the the areas to do so exist, but this place seems to be the exception at least on the inside. It's always bustling with life. There is always someone looking and being looked at. Some read, some work and other just hang out, but it happens. What I really wanted to get to, is that today I went to Lux and unlike most times and most places I heard a different type of music and unusual music for such a local. It was Gorecki's Symphony No. 3. At first I mistook it for Arvo Part but quickly realized my mistake. That's my point. The music was a perfect fit.
