Windsor Square in Phoenix"In Windsor Square, as with several now historic districts, America's entrance and exit from the World Wars set the pace of development and subsequent style and size of homes produced.  Transitional Ranch style homes with many influences are showcased throughout this area on its unique curvilinear street scape" (from the Phoenix Historic Neighborhoods Coalition publication 4th ed)

Windsor Square in PhoenixIt is the curvilinear street-scape which adds so much interest and charm to the neighborhood.   The homes here are very beautiful, taking on characteristics of each individual owner as time went by.  Some have added some modern elements, in the landscaping if not on the buildings themselves.  Besides the Transitional Ranch style homes there are several other types here:  Art Moderne and Southwest style are the other few styles in the area.

What is additionally attractive about the neighborhood besides everything else mentioned above is that it is well taken care of and clean and with the quickly evolving nature of this part of town it's going to be fun living here for those who choose to.
