in the North Foothills of the Phoenix Mountains Preserve are stronger
then last year. In October 19 properties sold. That is 3 more then
last year and only 2 less then 2006 which was still a good year.
Pending sales are up as well indicating a positive trend. Despite the good unit sales the median price declined to $329,000 from
$391,000 last year. It's the pressures of REO / Lender Owned
properties driving prices down. See a few examples of subdivisions in the North Foothills of the Phoenix

It's a very diverse area: quite nice, indeed.
There is also a very nice selection of luxury homes, these tend to hug the preserve border.
