Viewing homes for sale on a bicycle.

Tis the perfect season to view homes in Central Phoenix. The grass is
lush green and the flowers full in bloom: the many shade trees already
full of leaves after a short winter slumber provide refuge from the full
sun.
Instead of a car we've been pre-viewing homes for clients on bicycles. It's actually a very efficient method. Getting in and out of the car takes time, it's kind of cumbersome to drive a 1/4 mile from home to home, get in: get out: turn car off: turn car on: seat belts, brakes...
As long as you stay in one area, like North Central Phoenix, or Midtown
or any more homogeneous area of some 30 square miles then the task can
be accomplished quite pleasurably on a bike.
The other benefit is that home seekers who decide to view homes this way can get a very good look at the neighborhood: who is taking care of their yard, what's in the front yard, the traffic: you'll get a better sense of the area.
We viewed about 7 homes for a client plus a few more just to know
what's on the market. Of course we got to see what else is happening
and there are quite a few home owners making improvements to homes. 
In homes that had an actual open house, traffic was mixed but heavier then recently, noted many agents. Some homes are very well priced and extremely attractive.
We cycle through neighborhoods and view homes quite often. Come join us.
