| May 07, 2007 | | What conclusions we reached about the Phoenix Valley luxury home market | At today's meeting of Premier Marketing Group at the Gainey Ranch Golf Club, we discussed the current housing market in Scottsdale, Paradise Valley and Phoenix. There was a consensus that the market is not the same as it was a year or two years ago and that in fact overall prices had a slight decline of three to six percent depending on the area but, well competitively prices homes, not matter the price point, are selling well. Many of the members spoke about their clients homes selling in one day or less than 2 weeks and some spoke of multiple offers. These quick sales are the result of carefuly choosing a price to compete well with the competition, preparing the homes on the exterior and interior to give the best impression and marketing the property, including amongst the network of Premier Marketing Group members. The market is not what it was in 2005 but it is a very good market. You should consult a professional rather than read the newspapers and listen to headline news which has an overall negative tone. | | | |
