The city of Phoenix is divided into Villages. Paradise Valley Village, not to be confused with the city of Paradise Valley, is just under 43 square miles and its core is the Paradise Valley Mall area. This Village is noted for open space, greenery and desert beauty. Paradise Valley village is a mixture of well maintained residential areas and housing types with horse properties, and quaint homes on large lots by the Phoenix Mountain preserve to the south and new and older condo projects surrounding the Paradise Valley Mall with a mix of all other types through out the area who's boundaries are approximately 16st East to scottsdale Rd, Phoenix Mountain Preserve to the South and the Central Arizona Project canal to the North. Some noteworthy facts. 1. This Village is designated as a flood control greenbelt. The Indian Bend Wash is a key landmark of the designation. The Indian Bend Wash provides jogging, rollerblading, biking and picnicking. 2. The Phoenix mountain Preserve also provides great hiking with access to Piestewa Peak. 3. Higher education is offered by, Paradise Valley and Rio Salado Community Colleges, part of the Maricopa County Community College District. 4. There are 2 libraries, two public swimming pools, lots of neighborhood parks, theaters, and golf courses. Look for homes and condos in the Paradise Valley Village.
