Condominiums and Townhomes in Greater Phoenix, a review of the 2007 December numbers plus year total sales for 2007.

A total of 11,550 townhomes and condominiums sold in Greater Phoenix.  This is 17.5% less then in 2006.  The median sales price for the year 2007 is $179,000, an increase of 2.8% from the previous year.

For December 2007 the median condo / townhomes sale price is $167,000 compared to the $175,000 for the same period a year ago.

The declined for condos and townhomes was much smaller then single family homes in the Phoenix valley.

In Phoenix the median resale price increased by 7.8% and this with the median square footage remaining the same at 1,100 sf.
