| January 30, 2008 | | March 15 & 16 at the Historic Heritage and Science Park | Every Spring downtown Phoenix comes alive with thousands of people who come to celebrate and enjoy the Arizona Aloha Festival. This festival features the culture, traditions and food of the Hawaiian Islands. Spectators will enjoy live music on several stages including music, dance and educational lectures about Hawaii and Polynesia. There is also a huge market with authentic Hawaiian goods such as crafts, fresh flower leis, carved bone jewelry, tapa cloth, island wood products, surfer shorts, Hawaiian shirts and of course, coffee. There will also be traditional Hawaiian and South pacific foods including Kahlua pig, Manapua, Haupia and Vilo Vilo chicken. The Aloha Festival will be held March 15 & 16 20088 form 10am-5pm.
