Sunnyslope started its history as an area for people who suffered from tuberculosis and other related stuff. This was not a place you wanted to visit or live in if you were not part of the above group. For a long time it could not shake off this reputation of a rundown neighborhood where only the bad element would live. In the 90’s this changed. It was part the location, part the prices and a big part the citizens and groups that were part of the change of Sunnyslope from a place to stay away to a place to be. The location is almost ideal. If it were not for all the older properties, small lots and so much more work that needs to be done, this would be and probably will be the place to live. Not only is it close to hiking trails with beautiful mountains views, its also close to city center with a straight ride down 7th St., down the Central Corridor or 7th Ave. All these major arteries will take you right into downtown Phoenix and anywhere else you want to go.

Unless you are in specific gated communities, a Tuscan house will not fit in, and not many would welcome it either.
