City of Phoenix Median Home Prices for February 2008

Condo and Home resale numbers for Phoenix.

Phoenix is a big city with a varied stock of housing so the median price from each of the major neighborhoods would be different but for the city as a whole sales of single family homes declined from 1,215 to 910 in February.  The median home price declined as well to $185,000 from $228,470 the same time last year.  This is a  19% decline.

Condos and Townhomes in the city of Phoenix held their pricing better than homes.

The median condo/townhome price declined only 2% from $150,000 to $147,500 and the trend is up.
Sales decreased from 355 last year to 175 this year.
