Arcadia is a beautiful neighborhood at the southern foot of Camelback Mountain in the Phoenix East Village, with a fairly long history dating back to the early 1920’s when it was subdivided and sold as large 5 acre lots.
Lush green manicured lawns, large oleander hedges, huge mature trees, palms, and a scent of orange blossoms in the air in the spring all create a unique climate in the desert. Camelback Mountain looms over the neighborhood with its eternal beauty.
The boundaries or Arcadia are not clear.

The Arizona Canal just to the North of Indian School Rd provides a great place to ride your bike, take a walk or jog of some work stress. A major focal point are the falls at about 57th st, it’s a great public art project.
There is Schemer Arts Center, it’s a large old house with galleries; a permanent collection, exhibits, art classed and performances make this an arts center to visit often.
