A Phoenix Downtown Loft To Love | Orpheum Lofts

Historic Loft in Central Phoenix

This last weekend we did a condo and loft viewing binge, previewing for a client and just updating ourselves on the inventory.

We'll have additional posts focusing on several interesting projects in Central Phoenix, but there is one unit in one of the true lofts projects in Phoenix that just caught our attention.  It's a South East facing unit in the Orpheum Lofts in Downtown Phoenix.

The Orpheum Lofts is a beautiful historic building with Art Deco architectural elements inside and outside, but you can read more about the details of Orpheum Lofts at RealEstateConfluence.com our blogsite which focuses on Urban Phoenix.

I'd like to talk about a specific units which is one of several lofts for sale in Orpheum Lofts.  Besides having the essentials like 2 bedrooms a living room and bathrooms, high ceilings, well crafted interior finishes through out, and a private entry onto the courtyard; this loft has a great feeling, feng shui, or what ever else you may call it, that essence that the place the space makes sense.

The living room is what truly brings everything together.  It's the main part of the loft with two exterior walls covered with windows supported by raw red bricks.  On the outside is the light rail and the busy intersection of Central and Adams.

On the inside the room is filled with natural light warmed by the bricks; the light enhances the metal pipes along the raw concrete ceilings.  The ceiling joists with the red brick walls hint at renaissance architecture.

The owners picked the ideal furniture; though a loft, there's no modern minimalist furniture but warm wood, rattan pieces more reminiscent of an exotic tropic holiday.

Warm, inviting, a sense of history and quality and solidity; I can imagine many pleasant moments here, deep in a novel while the city goes on busily with its day or a midnight wine tasting with friends.

Not all the loft units are this nice in the Orpheum Lofts; this one just got put together well and stands out.

If you would like to see this loft of others in the Orpheum Lofts please call Joanna at 602.358.1392 to schedule a viewing.

Question about the floor

Question about your loft.
What kind of floor is that? It's gorgeous!

Wood Floor

I'm not sure exactly the species of wood but it's a hard wood,1.12" thick solid wood.  It's amazing the depth a good floor adds to a room.  I'v put in the engineered woods in some of my properties and, though they are easier to maintain, there is nothing like the real thing.
