Since the only roads leading into the neighborhood here are Tatum Blvd and Shea there really no through traffic.  Streets are well maintained and rarely do you see a car on them. 

It's actually more common to see a jogger or cyclist and maybe a horse once in a while.  In the photo above you ca see on of the large roads leading into the area with the Phoenix Mountains int he back.  It's a typical street with large set-back homes, a rare sidewalk and lush desert landscaping sometimes manicured sometimes natural.

The photo above is a view of the North East Phoenix valley from the edge of the foothills. 

The median home price in the area is $780,000.  Though there are homes that are older many have been remodelled and some are simply beautiful with character, charm and individuality and they come in all sizes and architectural styles.

It's enough to write about this area; you must visit it to understand how unique it is in Greater Phoenix.  If your in the market for a luxury home in a unique quiet area near the mountains without paying the huge premiums of Paradise Valley this may be an area to consider.  Few people are disappointed once they see it.
