A 50-75% chance of not selling your homes is probably now what you're looking for but that what the statistics show.
The chances of selling a home become clearer when you look a the numbers on the chart below. It puts the need of being priced competitively and marketed well in perspective when your chances of selling home are 42% in Phoenix or only 26% in Scottsdale.
Only about 1 in 4 homes in Scottsdale sell. The rest expire or are canceled. The expired and canceled listing sometimes come back on the the market for another try.
