central phoenix grass - a review of a lawnmower

A short discussion about electric law mowers.

I'm not big on the environmental thing. / I'm very environmentally conscious / I consider my self a gas guzzler / I think about solar power. Well, It's not that I'm confused, I do think about the environment and in fact I do something about it. I own a 420 hp V8 car that gets on a good day 18 miles per gallon and on a regular day 12 is good, but I love to push the car and I don't feel bad about doing it because it's fun, but I try to offset this extravagance some other place. One of them is using an electric lawnmower. We have some Phoenix rental properties that have grass. Most have been converted to desert landscaping but the few that remain get a trim with my cordless electric lawnmower. I did a lot of research and searching for a lawnmower. I tend to over research things before I buy and often this works. It did in this case. I looked at gas powered lawnmowers and quickly decided, No, since they are loud, annoying and they pollute the already dirty Phoenix air. Then, there were corded and push lawnmowers which would either be a hassle due to the the cord or just not good enough to trim grasses like the Bermuda grass which is popular here. So I settled on a Neuton lawn mower and several accessories. Its been a year with it and I just ordered a second one to keep at another property. This is a lawnmower every Phoenix homeowner or even commercial property owner should use. The battery is good for over one hour of cutting grass and recharges quickly. It trims grass very well. Its light. Its friendly for the environment and it quiet. I rarely recommend products but, for those of you in the Phoenix and Scottsdale area that have not yet switched to desert landscaping, I recommend doing your part by using this lawnmower.
