2008 Phoenix real estate market presents an opportunity not seen in decades.

If the attendance at the recent <a title="AZREIA" href="item/171188" target="_blank">AZREIA</a> meeting is anything to go by then at least wise investors are getting the message, if not the owner occupied home buyers.   The message of course is that this National and Phoenix real estate market presents many opportunities.  If you play it right, when the market turns you won't have to work another day in your life, unless of course you raise the bar.  If you are a home buyer it's no different then an investor.  When you buy right, you won't loose.  In fact buying right and carefully will put you in a very strong financial position several years down the road. At this event there was a very good panel discussion about the current real estate market from an investors perspective.  An investors perspective is quite different from a regular owner occupant.  For one, real estate is used as a vehicle to build wealth not as a shelter.  This gives investors a different perspective.  Please note that there is a definite difference between investment and speculation.  What we had in 2005 was mostly speculation, which can be a part of building wealth, but it's not investing. Speculation involves a lot more risk, uncalculated risk.
